A Day In The Life Of A Teen Mom

Published by sage.stricken at 3:45 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Jaydn Anthonyhello everyone,  this is my first post so go easy on me.

To give you a little background info (without giving too much away) I’m 17 years of age. (will be 18 in may). I got pregnant with my first child at the age of 16, he is now 10 months old and has a baby brother on the way. I know the hardships that a teen parent goes through. Heck, I’ve been through most of them, his biological father left, he was born premature, he was sick when he was born, I didnt have good insurance, the usual things that everyone thinks a teen parent has to go through that show that a teenager isn’t a fit parent. But I also know that everyone is different, and you cant go by stereotypes. I’m taking the innitiative and making it my job to clear the air and let everyone know what it’s like for a teen parent. To show them that not every teen, just because of their age, is neglectful or abusive to their children. I happen to know plenty of other teen parents that are doing better than adults. Most people dont like to hear that but its the truth. age makes no difference, everyone starts out with no experience, and no matter how much people tell you, or how much you read, or how many other peoples kids you take care of, you are never truely completely ready when it happens to you. the only way to find out exactly what it takes is to go through the experience yourself.

have to go take care of the jaydn-ator right now, but i’ll be back and start from the begining of our lovely story.

 peace out people!

I agree, for the most part, with what you’re saying. I’m glad you are being responsible and look forward to reading more about you and your life as a teen mom. Take care!
